A Leap Forward for Humanoid Robotics at the 3rd CISCE
The 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) recently hosted the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Matchmaking Conference in Beijing, under the theme "Synergizing Cutting-edge Innovations, Empowering New Quality Productive Forces." This event highlighted the region's advancements in humanoid robotics and aimed to foster global collaboration across the industry.
The conference gathered over 400 attendees, including ambassadors, industry experts, financial executives, and decision-makers, who engaged in speeches, project promotions, and the signing of cooperation agreements. Yu Jianlong, vice president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), emphasized Hubei's strategic location, scientific and technological resources, and its thriving innovation ecosystem. He pointed out the rapid progress the province has made in humanoid robotics, focusing on intelligent manufacturing, R&D of key components, various application scenarios, and the overall development of the ecosystem.
At this year's CISCE, Hubei unveiled a dedicated humanoid robotics exhibition area that featured 22 companies displaying over 80 exhibits, including 20 fully integrated humanoid robots. This showcased the comprehensive landscape of Hubei's robotics industry. Yu expressed CCPIT's commitment to enhancing its service network and global partnerships to support Hubei's initiatives in building international cooperation platforms, promoting its humanoid robotics sector as a leading brand.
Hu Zhonghai, director of CCPIT Hubei, viewed humanoid robotics as a crucial driver of technological innovation and industrial modernization. Hubei boasts 325 corporations listed among the Fortune Global 500, alongside its geographical, industrial, and political advantages. He outlined a roadmap for Hubei's robotics initiatives with specific milestones set for the coming one, three, and five years.
One highlight of the event was JCBot, represented by its legal representative Zhao Xingwei and HUST professor, who explained how the company has successfully industrialized its technologies with support from academic institutions. The company's products are already in use across more than ten sectors, including industrial production, tourism, firefighting, and logistics. Zhao pledged to drive R&D towards higher-value applications and industry enhancements.
During the product launch segment, Lou Kaiqi, general manager of Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology Co. Ltd., introduced their latest humanoid robot, which is currently employed in areas such as exhibition guidance, retail, reception, and event performances. This robot is expected to be expanded into government services, industrial operations, elder care, and beyond.
The matchmaking conference also witnessed the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Alliance signing strategic agreements with three partners, including the Zhejiang Robotics Industry Association, the Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center, and the Zhongguancun Rongzhi Specialized Robotics Alliance. These partnerships will focus on R&D, market expansion, and talent exchange, with a shared vision of strengthening the robotics ecosystem by pooling resources and complementing strengths.
In conclusion, the 3rd CISCE's Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Matchmaking Conference represented a significant step towards solidifying Hubei's position as a leader in the humanoid robotics sector while promising a future filled with innovation and collaboration. For more information, visit
