Organized by Spiral Co., Ltd., a company championing digital transformation for community revitalization, and Video Information Center Co., Ltd., this festival has everything from exclusive local craft beers to hard-to-find international brews. It’s a brilliant chance to discover new flavors, connect with fellow beer aficionados, and immerse yourself in Kichijoji’s unique charm.

Festival Activities

One of the festival highlights is the engaging stamp rally, where participants can collect stamps by visiting various locations and trying different beers. Each stamp collected can be exchanged for exciting prizes, such as festival-exclusive T-shirts and exciting beer merchandise. With Kichijoji's eclectic mix of bars and restaurants, attendees are guaranteed a delightful experience while they roam the streets, tasting distinctive offerings.

Special Beer Releases

This year, festival-goers can indulge in the limited-edition 'VIC Beer', supervised by Akira Handata, a former Sapporo Beer PR executive and a renowned beer advisor. This exceptional brew is available only during this event for ¥1,000 (tax included). Participants can find it sold at select establishments, creating an ideal opportunity to savor this exclusive beverage while enjoying the festivities.

Live Performances and Engaging Talks

Alongside beer tastings, attendees can look forward to live performances from the 'Happy Beer Festival Band', known for their jolly renditions of traditional Oktoberfest songs. Join them for moments of camaraderie as everyone sings, dances, and toasts to a wonderful time.

Additionally, a special talk session by Akira Handata himself will be held on October 5.
