Support for Animals Affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake: Fundraiser Launched

Anicom Holdings, located in Shinjuku, Tokyo and led by President Nobuaki Komori, is launching a fundraising initiative called "Kumamoto Earthquake Pet Relief Campaign" to support animals affected by the devastating Kumamoto earthquake that struck on July 28, 2026.

Campaign Overview

The fundraising period will run from August 6 to August 31, 2026. However, please note that this period may change depending on the situation at that time.

How to Contribute

Interested individuals can make donations via bank transfer to the following account:

Contributions should be 1,000 yen or more, and it's acceptable if the amount isn’t a round number. Please note that receipts for donations will not be issued, and we advise contributors to check with tax officials or certified public accountants regarding tax treatment of donations.

Allocation of Donations

All contributions received will be allocated to organizations providing support to animals affected by the earthquake, aiding their recovery and rehabilitation efforts.

The Kumamoto earthquake has resulted in severe damage, and we offer our condolences to the families who have suffered loss. Our hearts go out to all who have been affected. Anicom has a long-standing mission of supporting animals and their owners impacted by disasters, providing assistance during crises both domestically and internationally, including previous efforts for the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake, the 2018 Western Japan Floods, and more recent initiatives for abroad.

This time, too, we aim to support pets and their owners in affected areas as much as possible, in hopes of aiding their recovery.
