In an exciting development, National Development has announced the promotion of four esteemed members—Haley Barrar, Bryan Clancy, Pat McAneny, and Kevin Sullivan—to the role of Principal. This significant move is aimed at reinforcing the company’s strategic growth and leadership for the future.

Who Are the Newly Appointed Principals?

1. Haley Barrar:
Since joining National Development in 2012, Haley Barrar has built a strong reputation, serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Fund Management. In her role, she manages crucial functions related to accounting and reporting for the firm’s investment funds. This includes overseeing cash planning, financial statements, investor capital notices, and compliance with Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT). In her new Principal role, she will expand her responsibilities across the firm’s accounting functions to drive efficiency and better financial oversight.

2. Bryan Clancy:
A pivotal member of the team since 1994, Bryan Clancy holds the position of Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. His extensive experience in finance, development, and project management has been invaluable. He manages the firm’s lending relationships and oversees crucial debt financing activities. Bryan is positioned to leverage his expertise further, enhancing the firm's capital market strategies as Principal.

3. Pat McAneny:
Joining the firm in 2019, Pat McAneny has quickly become a significant presence as the Senior Vice President of Investments. His responsibilities include crucial areas such as the origination, underwriting, and due diligence of new investments. Focusing on acquiring value-add assets, Pat will play an even larger role in determining strategies for existing assets, enhancing investor relations, and leading the firm’s new investment activities.

4. Kevin Sullivan:
Since 2013, Kevin Sullivan has served at National Development as the Associate General Counsel. His experience in private legal practice spans more than a decade, covering a diverse range of legal matters, from acquisitions to zoning and development issues. In January 2025, he will transition to the role of General Counsel, further solidifying the firm’s legal oversight and guidance in all its operations.
