The IT System Visualization Council (MCIS) is thrilled to announce the recruitment of members for its Special Interest Groups (SIG) for the year 2025. The SIG format allows for time-limited collaborative research focused on specific interests, fostering innovation and knowledge sharing among participants.
What is SIG?
A Special Interest Group (SIG) is a project-based research meeting with a goal to address specific domain challenges and produce results in a limited timeframe. Whether you are a current MCIS member or interested in becoming a trial member, you can apply for participation in these focused groups. Areas of Focus
MCIS is offering several SIGs for those looking to deepen their knowledge and skills in crucial areas:

Low Code/No Code Development SIG
This group is tailored for individuals who wish to enhance their estimation capabilities within low code/no code environments. Participants will gain insights into:
- Creating precise estimates in low code/no code development.
- Evaluating the reasonableness of costs and timelines.
- Proactively addressing quality risks through acquired know-how.
- Systematically learning about product selection, estimation, quality assurance, and governance in low code/no code projects.

IT Price Visualization SIG (In collaboration with JUAS)
In partnership with the Japan Users Association for Information Systems (JUAS), this SIG revolves around collaborative research. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with user companies’ information system departments, aiming to:

- Investigate IT investment portfolios and enhance mutual understanding.
