Sezzle and Zogo Collaborate to Enhance User Financial Education with New Modules

Sezzle and Zogo Collaboration Marks New Era in Financial Education

Sezzle, a preeminent player in the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) sector, has teamed up with Zogo, a dedicated financial literacy platform, to enrich their Money IQ program. This collaboration, announced in conjunction with Financial Capability Month, aims to amplify consumer knowledge and engagement in personal finance through exciting and interactive content.

Launched in January 2025, Money IQ is designed to provide an engaging education experience. Users have shown enthusiastic participation, completing an average of eleven modules and accumulating over five million experience points collectively. Sezzle's CEO, Charlie Youakim, emphasized the mission of enabling users to make sound financial decisions, noting that the initial uptake demonstrates a demand for accessible and incentivized learning modes.

This month, as part of their commitment to enhancing financial literacy, Sezzle is broadening the Money IQ curriculum. New bonus modules are being introduced to ensure users have access to relatable and practical financial knowledge. Chuck Long, General Manager of Zogo, expressed confidence in the effectiveness of education as a tool for building financial competency. He remarked on the importance of this initiative, especially among younger demographics. The urgency is evident: recent studies exposed that two-thirds of Gen Z could only get half or fewer questions correct on basic financial literacy assessments.

The revamped curriculum will be available for Sezzle subscribers in the app starting April 1, 2025, while non-subscribers will still gain access to foundational modules. The integration of these educational tools within the Sezzle app fosters responsible spending habits directly, enhancing the BNPL industry’s approach to a more informed consumer base.

Many users have experienced significant changes in their financial behaviors since engaging with Money IQ. To underline this, Zogo recently released a case study video showcasing user transformations and the positive impact of financial literacy education. It illustrates how these interactively constructed learning experiences are pivotal in bringing about financial wellness.

Zogo's approach, which offers short, gamified learning modules, has been well-received. Having collaborated with more than 200 financial institutions in the U.S., Zogo is making strides in democratizing financial knowledge—an essential move as the platform has amassed over two million users since its launch in 2018.

To sum up, collaboration between fintech entities like Sezzle and Zogo is a promising path for fostering informed financial decisions among consumers, particularly the younger and often vulnerable age brackets. The new offerings will further fortify not just individual financial literacy but also the overall mission of creating a more knowledgeable and savvy financial landscape. For users interested in expanding their financial expertise, downloading the Sezzle App from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store is a step towards empowerment.
