Gridora Signs Important MoU with ADPIC to Enhance Transport Infrastructure Projects

On May 29, 2025, Gridora, a prominent infrastructure platform formed by ADQ, IHC, and Modon Holding, signed an inaugural Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Center (ADPIC). This collaboration aims to speed up the delivery of high-impact transport infrastructure projects, with a total estimated value of AED 35 billion. Key Elements of the MoU



The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation between Gridora and ADPIC, focusing on the development, planning, and execution of essential infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. One of the initial goals set by the MoU is to establish a working committee that will identify potential opportunities, pilot projects, activities, and initiatives that Gridora might undertake. ADPIC, which has a mandate to implement significant projects within a value of not less than AED 35 billion, will collaborate with Gridora to explore various possibilities.

Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of Gridora, stated that the experience and capabilities of Gridora will bring top-notch infrastructure solutions that will drive the ambitious economic and population growth targets of the country. He emphasized that the MoU is a reflection of their mutual commitment to accelerating critical transport infrastructure implementation, combining innovation, scale, and vision.

Furthermore, Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, pointed out that this strategic partnership emphasizes a shared focus on creating transportation infrastructure that will support Abu Dhabi’s ongoing development as a global city.
