FICER Technology Showcases Innovative Optical Solutions at OFC 2026 for Advanced Networking

FICER Technology's Revolutionary Launch at OFC 2026

FICER Technology, a prominent provider of optical communication solutions from Taiwan, is making waves at the OFC 2026, a premier international conference dedicated to optical networking and communications. Under the theme 'From Modules to Systems – Enabling the Future Optic Networks', FICER is set to showcase a comprehensive range of innovations designed to elevate networking capabilities, particularly for data centers, AI computing clusters, and service providers needing robust and scalable infrastructure.

Innovations Unveiled

The highlights of FICER's presentation include the following groundbreaking technologies:

1. F520 OTN DWDM System and DCO Series Transceivers

FICER introduces the F520 OTN DWDM System paired with its DCO (Digital Coherent Optics) Series, tailored for long-haul transport. This system addresses the surging global data traffic by establishing a high-density backbone that can support multi-terabit streams essential for heavy cloud workloads. The DCO modules are particularly advantageous, connecting geographically dispersed data centers while simplifying network topology and reducing capital expenditures.

2. High-Speed BiDi Transceivers

The company is also focusing on eliminating bandwidth bottlenecks through the deployment of 800G and 400G BiDi (Bidirectional) fiber optical transceivers. These modules ensure enhanced processing power needed for sophisticated AI applications and guarantee that switch-to-switch communication keeps up with computational requirements. For sites with constrained fiber availability, the 25G/40G/100G BiDi solutions can effectively double existing cabling capacity, offering operators a prompt scaling mechanism without the necessity for additional fiber installation.

3. Pluggable EDFA and OTDR Modules

FICER aims to streamline optical operations with Pluggable EDFA and OTDR modules. These transceivers minimize the footprint typically required by external test equipment and amplifiers, enabling easier deployment directly into standard QSFP-DD switch ports. The modules not only amplify C-Band DWDM signals across eight channels but also facilitate in-service OTDR monitoring over spans of up to 150 kilometers, allowing for early fault detection and telemetry transmission, which can be analyzed through AI diagnostics.

4. Next-Gen Access Technologies: XGS-PON and 25G-PON

To optimize bandwidth and enhance network convergence, FICER's offerings include state-of-the-art XGS-PON and 25G-PON technologies. The XGS-PON modules deliver up to 10Gbps symmetrical bandwidth, allowing seamless expansion for both enterprise leased lines and residential 8K streaming capabilities without the need for additional fiber infrastructure. Meanwhile, the 25G-PON technology quadruples the throughput of XG-PON, effectively catering to 5G fronthaul and backhaul capacity and latency requirements.

FICER's Commitment to the Future

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Taiwan, FICER Technology has established itself as a leader in providing comprehensive fiber optic solutions. The company serves telecommunication providers, system integrators, and the cloud computing sector, delivering robust, secure, and cost-effective products that drive intelligent connectivity.

As FICER continues to innovate within the optical communication space, their presence at OFC 2026 marks a significant milestone in advancing the capabilities of networking infrastructures across the globe.

For more information, FICER invites interested parties to visit them at Booth 5501 in the West Hall during the event, which runs from March 17 to 19, 2026.
