The initiative emphasizes that women do not need to choose between advancing their careers, managing family responsibilities, or pursuing education. Instead, they are encouraged to embrace a work-life balance by choosing their working hours, gaining access to competitive earning potentials, and enjoying various exclusive benefits that come with being a Grab partner.

Breaking Barriers to Entry

Through this collaborative effort, the Vantage Foundation has played a pivotal role in enabling numerous women to join the Grab platform, significantly reducing critical barriers such as access to funding and necessary driving equipment. According to a study conducted by Grab Indonesia, nearly 50% of women identified access to capital and equipment as major obstacles to entry.

Since the partnership began in November 2024, over 1,000 new women have joined the platform, and hundreds of existing drivers have utilized additional capital, allowing them to return to driving and earning income. Similarly, a driver from Makassar expressed that his position with Grab enabled him to support his family after his wife suffered a stroke.
