Introduction to the Life Investment Academy
This fall, Sony Financial Group Inc. (SFGI), led by CEO Toshi Endo and headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, is set to launch an innovative exploratory financial education program called the
Life Investment Academy. Starting October 2025, this program aims to empower the next generation, specifically ages 18 to 30, to design their futures actively. The recruitment for the first cohort begins today, July 9, 2025.
The Concept of Investment in Life
The Life Investment Academy encourages participants to contemplate how they wish to invest their limited life resources—money, time, knowledge, and connections—into meaningful living. Unlike traditional financial courses focused on growing wealth, this program invites students to explore fundamental questions like, “Why is money necessary?”, “How should one interact with money?”, and “What life do I wish to live?”. Over a six-month period with sessions every other Saturday, participants will discover how to cultivate and combine various assets to enrich their lives.
