Eastern International Ltd. Expands Renewable Energy Logistics with New Offshore Wind Projects
Eastern International Ltd. Expands Its Horizons in Renewable Energy
In a significant development, Eastern International Ltd. has reported remarkable revenues exceeding RMB 45 million (approximately US$ 6.323 million) from its ongoing logistics services tailored for offshore wind power projects. This achievement comes on the heels of the launch of its ambitious Yangjiang offshore project, reinforcing the company’s strategic focus on renewable energy logistics across Asia.
The Yangjiang project represents a monumental step for Eastern International as it aims to provide crucial logistics support for the transportation of wind turbine components, specifically the Model 266/16200 blades. This venture involves their subsidiary, Suzhou TC-Link Logistics Co., Ltd., which has been charged with transporting wind turbine blades and ensuring safe loading operations at designated ports.
Eastern International’s commitment to renewable energy isn’t just limited to Yangjiang. The company is simultaneously executing two other significant projects in Jiangsu Province: the Jiangsu Yancheng Three Gorges Fenghai Dafeng Wind Farm Project and the Jiangsu Guoxin Dafeng Offshore Wind Power Project. Together, these projects have garnered substantial revenues, approximately RMB 22.87 million and RMB 22.32 million respectively, and a remarkable installation capacity of over 1.6 gigawatts.
The scale of these projects underscores the company’s expertise in handling complex logistics for major renewable energy initiatives. The logistics operations involve the transportation and handling of ultra-long wind turbine components that extend up to 110 meters, a task that requires meticulous planning and execution to meet safety standards and project timelines.
Mr. Lin Tan, the Chief Operating Officer of Eastern International Ltd., emphasized the company’s operational strengths during the announcement. He stated, "Our execution across multiple large-scale projects demonstrates not only our operational strength but also the trust our clients place in our capabilities." This statement signifies Eastern International's ambition to not only expand its project logistics but to enhance its engineering solutions, including hoisting and installation services.
In addition to logistics management, Eastern International’s strategic focus on value-added services aims to build customer loyalty and create sustainable revenue streams. These enhancements reflect the company’s commitment to meeting the evolving demands of the renewable energy sector, particularly in light of increasing investments across China and Southeast Asia.
With nearly 20 years in the industry, Eastern International is leveraging its extensive network and safety standards to solidify its position as a trusted logistics partner for energy developers and equipment manufacturers. Their initiatives not only contribute to renewable energy projects but also reinforce their reputation within the logistics sector.
Eastern International Ltd. continues to embody the strategic integration of logistics and renewable energy, with projects that not only meet the current demands but also pave the way for future growth in the rapidly changing landscape of energy solutions.
