International Auto Film Festa 2026 Awards Announced, Celebrating Automotive Films Worldwide

The International Auto Film Festa 2026 Awards

The International Auto Film Festa powered by DUNLOP (IAFF), led by Yukiyuki Shimizu, has revealed its award winners for the year 2026. This film festival, which highlights automotive-related films from around the globe, has awarded a total of six prizes, including the prestigious "IAFF2026 Grand Prix."

Among the standout winners, director Rinichi Ogawa's documentary, "The 25 Years with RX-7, The Last 3 Days - What Cars Have Left Behind," achieved a historic feat by securing both the Grand Prix and the special "TEAM UKYO Award." This remarkable win marks the first time in IAFF history that a single film has achieved dual recognition.

The festival received a staggering 519 submissions from 73 countries, showcasing the diversity and creativity of filmmakers involved in automotive cinema. Each nominated film shines a light on how cars are not just means of transportation but also integral to human emotions, culture, and life stories.
