Nick brings with him a wealth of experience and a strong track record of successful engagement with various governmental agencies at all levels.

Before joining Jones Walker, Nick served as the Jacksonville Port Authority's (JAXPORT) inaugural chief of regulatory compliance, where he was responsible for legal counsel on matters ranging from maritime and business development to environmental regulations and risk management. He played a pivotal role in guiding governmental affairs and assisting port leadership with strategic planning and growth initiatives.

Previously, Nick also held positions within the Executive Office of the Governor, working under two Florida governors. He ultimately served as deputy general counsel for each, further solidifying his extensive governmental experience and legal background.
