Farmina Pet Foods and Blue Ridge Humane Society Team Up for Charity Event
The 4th Annual Historic 7th Avenue District Pup Crawl, themed 'The Paw-liday Edition,' is set to take place on
Saturday, December 7, 2024. This community event is organized by
Farmina Pet Foods, a leading name in natural pet nutrition, in partnership with the
Blue Ridge Humane Society (BRHS). The event not only aims to encourage community fun but also focuses on providing vital assistance to Western North Carolina pet families who have been affected by recent natural disasters, including Hurricane Helene.
Brian Bonsall, Head of Sales at Farmina’s PRO Channel in North America, comments on the significance of this year's event, saying, "This year's event is about more than just community fun—it's about coming together to help our neighbors and their beloved pets recover from an incredibly challenging time. We're honored to partner with BRHS to ensure that pet families impacted by Hurricane Helene receive the care they need, especially as we approach the holidays. Pets are family, and Farmina is committed to being there for our community every step of the way."

Angela Prodrick, Executive Director of BRHS, shared her enthusiasm for the event, stating, "Pup Crawl is a fun and interactive event for dog owners, and we get to witness firsthand the bond between dogs and their owners at each stop. It’s an opportunity for the community to unite in support of local businesses and rescue efforts during this challenging period of recovery."
