Furniture China 2025: A Record-Breaking Event
The recent
Furniture China 2025 took place from September 10th to 13th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and coincided with
Maison Shanghai 2025, held from September 9th to 12th at SWEECC. Organized by the
China National Furniture Association and
Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, this event celebrated its 30th anniversary under the theme "Beyond the Next."
Unmatched Attendance and Global Reach
This year's exhibition achieved unprecedented success, with a remarkable total of
163,527 visits over the five days, drawing attendees from
174 countries and regions worldwide. Notably, the number of foreign visitors reached
32,618, reflecting a
13.9% increase from the previous year. This surge indicates a growing international recognition of the event, reinforcing its status as a vital hub for innovation and trade in the furniture sector.
Redefining Furniture and Lifestyle Trends
More than 3,200 exhibitors showcased their designs and innovations across an expansive
350,000 square meters. The exhibits included everything from finished furniture to raw materials and smart manufacturing technology. Significant highlights included the
Outdoor and Garden Furniture Pavilion and both
FMC China and
FMC Premium at SNIEC, all promoting sustainable and high-quality production throughout the industry.
Furniture China and
Maison Shanghai have solidified their roles as critical global centers for furniture and lifestyle marketing. At SWEECC,
Maison Shanghai 2025 featured over
800 design brands divided into four thematic zones, sparking creativity and innovation in lifestyle design. The
H3 Design Highland pavilion was a particular standout, attracting industry leaders, media, and buyers alike, establishing a new benchmark for design exhibitions.
Moreover,
Maison Shanghai witnessed spectacular growth, hosting
47,077 visitors, which marks a
55.6% increase and an astounding
123% rise in international attendance compared to the previous year. The event also fostered cultural creativity and lifestyle design through over
100 forums and events. Notable platforms, such as the
Gold Idea Design Award,
CREDAWARD,
Design of Designers (DOD), and the
Maison Design Forum, underscored themes of innovation, heritage, sustainability, and cultural exchange between the East and the West.

The exhibitions also embraced digital expansion via the
DTS FurnitureChina app, enabling year-round business opportunities with AI-driven matchmaking, exhibitor catalogs, and smooth connectivity.
