Furniture China 2025 Celebrates Landmark Achievements at Its 30th Edition

Furniture China 2025: A Record-Breaking Event

The recent Furniture China 2025 took place from September 10th to 13th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and coincided with Maison Shanghai 2025, held from September 9th to 12th at SWEECC. Organized by the China National Furniture Association and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, this event celebrated its 30th anniversary under the theme "Beyond the Next."

Unmatched Attendance and Global Reach

This year's exhibition achieved unprecedented success, with a remarkable total of 163,527 visits over the five days, drawing attendees from 174 countries and regions worldwide. Notably, the number of foreign visitors reached 32,618, reflecting a 13.9% increase from the previous year. This surge indicates a growing international recognition of the event, reinforcing its status as a vital hub for innovation and trade in the furniture sector.

Redefining Furniture and Lifestyle Trends

More than 3,200 exhibitors showcased their designs and innovations across an expansive 350,000 square meters. The exhibits included everything from finished furniture to raw materials and smart manufacturing technology. Significant highlights included the Outdoor and Garden Furniture Pavilion and both FMC China and FMC Premium at SNIEC, all promoting sustainable and high-quality production throughout the industry.

Furniture China and Maison Shanghai have solidified their roles as critical global centers for furniture and lifestyle marketing. At SWEECC, Maison Shanghai 2025 featured over 800 design brands divided into four thematic zones, sparking creativity and innovation in lifestyle design. The H3 Design Highland pavilion was a particular standout, attracting industry leaders, media, and buyers alike, establishing a new benchmark for design exhibitions.

Moreover, Maison Shanghai witnessed spectacular growth, hosting 47,077 visitors, which marks a 55.6% increase and an astounding 123% rise in international attendance compared to the previous year. The event also fostered cultural creativity and lifestyle design through over 100 forums and events. Notable platforms, such as the Gold Idea Design Award, CREDAWARD, Design of Designers (DOD), and the Maison Design Forum, underscored themes of innovation, heritage, sustainability, and cultural exchange between the East and the West.

Expanding Connections Digitally

The exhibitions also embraced digital expansion via the DTS FurnitureChina app, enabling year-round business opportunities with AI-driven matchmaking, exhibitor catalogs, and smooth connectivity.

Looking Ahead

As the 30th anniversary of Furniture China comes to a close, there is a palpable sense of gratitude towards the exhibitors, partners, and visitors who contributed to its success.
