Doosan Robotics Unveils Innovative AI Robot Solution at Automatica 2025

Doosan Robotics has officially announced its participation in Automatica 2025, which stands as Europe’s premier exhibition for automation and robotics, commencing on June 24 in Munich, Germany. Doosan Robotics will showcase its Material Handling Solution, integrating three collaborative robots endowed with image processing functions that allow them to identify and manipulate objects without prior training. This sophisticated setup employs Doosan’s proprietary Multi-Arm Dynamic Manipulation Engine, enabling coordinated tasks across multiple robotic arms to tackle complex and precise operations simultaneously. Furthermore, the Sanding Solution will demonstrate how robots can autonomously map and polish intricate surfaces by leveraging 3D vision and AI technology, while the Inspection Solution employs a 3D scanning system for real-time exterior inspections of vehicles with exceptional accuracy.

Another notable highlight will be "Sim to Real," a real-time motion control solution utilizing NVIDIA Isaac Sim. This cutting-edge application enables the simulation and testing of AI-controlled robots within the NVIDIA Omniverse framework, alongside CuRobo, a CUDA-accelerated robotics library. This technological fusion allows for lightning-fast computation of complex robot trajectories, with the ability to translate simulated movements into real-time actions for physical robots, ensuring accurate and responsive operations in various applications.

The "Automation in Action" section will vividly illustrate practical robotic applications across critical stages of the manufacturing process, including welding, machine operation, assembly, quality control, and palletizing. These solutions have been developed in partnership with European stakeholders and are already implemented by leading global companies such as General Motors, Danone, Heineken, and Royal Mail, which attests to their viability and operational reliability within the European market.
