In a significant move to foster global startup innovation and collaboration, 01Booster, a Tokyo-based company dedicated to open innovation and new business development, has successfully organized pitch events in three major cities in India: New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad. This initiative acts as a precursor to the upcoming TechGALA Japan 2026 event, a global platform focused on addressing pressing global challenges through innovative solutions.

The TechGALA Japan event, led by the Central Japan Startup Ecosystem Consortium, is poised to be more than just a conference; it is emerging as an essential global initiative to tackle sustainability and innovation challenges. After the success of the inaugural TechGALA Japan 2025, which attracted around 5,000 participants, 01Booster is now focusing on reinforcing outreach activities in key markets like India, Singapore, and South Korea.

This year, the spotlight is on unearthing remarkable talent from these regions to enhance collaboration with Japan's vibrant startup ecosystem. The recent pitch events in India were part of this strategic initiative, emphasizing the potential for impactful international partnerships.

Pitch Event Details

The pitch events held between September 23 and 26 showcased a robust selection of startups:

• - New Delhi (September 23): Featured 8 companies pitching innovative solutions.
• - Bengaluru (September 25): Engaged 10 aspiring startups, showcasing diverse technological advancements.
• - Ahmedabad (September 26): Concluded the tour with 8 pitch presentations, highlighting regional innovations.

The pitch sessions were organized in collaboration with India Accelerator, a leading venture investment and co-working space operator. This partnership enabled the event to tap into India's expanding entrepreneurial landscape, fostering business growth and development.

Selected Startups

From these events, five startups were selected to participate in TechGALA Japan 2026:
1. LivNsense: A carbon management and decarbonization platform leveraging AI and digital twin technology.
2. Minimac Systems: Focused on reducing emissions through clean tech and lubrication management for industrial machines.
3. Zolnoi: A pioneer in utilizing AI for analyzing power and equipment data to optimize manufacturing efficiency and predict maintenance needs.
4. Humac.ai: Enhancing SME manufacturing efficiency and digitization through IIoT solutions that connect humans and machines.
5. SHIRA Medtech: Innovating affordable and high-quality medical devices through proprietary development.

Each of these selected startups will receive invitations to TechGALA Japan 2026, along with opportunities to participate in the TechGALA Global Startup Showcase 2026, exhibit at booths, engage in speed dating sessions, and partake in excursion programs designed to integrate them into Japan's innovation ecosystem.

Upcoming Pitch Events

Looking forward, the next pitch event will take place as a side event at Singapore's largest tech conference, SWITCH, on October 31, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The venue will be Marina Bay Sands, rooms 3811-3812. Applications are open until October 15, 2025, through an online form.
