CC Capital and OneIM Finalize Acquisition of Insignia Financial Limited

On April 28, 2026, CC Capital, a private investment firm devoted to high-quality long-term businesses, alongside One Investment Management (OneIM), announced the successful acquisition of Insignia Financial Limited, Australia's leading diversified wealth management group. This strategic move is set to enhance the financial well-being of Australians and further transform the country's retirement planning landscape.

Insignia is a well-respected entity in Australia's financial sector, boasting an impressive A$342 billion in funds under management and advice as of December 31, 2025. CC Capital and OneIM acquired 100% of Insignia for A$4.80 per share, amounting to an overall valuation close to A$3.9 billion (approximately US$2.5 billion).

Commitment to Long-Term Value

Chinh Chu, Senior Managing Director at CC Capital, expressed pride in completing the acquisition, noting, "We are excited to assist Australians in securing their retirement. We recognize the responsibility of managing a company that plays a critical role in people's financial future. Our primary goal is to enhance outcomes for our members and advisers."

Demonstrating confidence in Insignia's management, particularly CEO Scott Hartley and his vision, Chu highlighted the alignment with the company’s Vision 2030 Strategy. He emphasized the commitment to providing necessary capital and operational expertise to facilitate Insignia's growth, leveraging Australia's exceptional superannuation system and the company's extensive heritage.

Strengthening Financial Markets

Rajeev Misra, CEO and co-founder of OneIM, remarked, "The successful completion of the Insignia transaction marks a significant milestone for us. It reinforces our belief in the quality of Insignia's operations and the attractive nature of the Australian market. We look forward to working closely with Insignia's management to enhance capabilities and deliver outstanding outcomes to members and stakeholders."

Under the stewardship of CC Capital and OneIM, Insignia aims to evolve as the most efficient diversified wealth management group by 2030. Scott Hartley asserted, "Their investment reflects strong confidence in our business, ensuring we remain focused on what’s most important – offering improved outcomes for our customers."

The acquisition aligns with substantial regulatory approvals from entities such as the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). As of April 29, 2026, Insignia will officially be delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
