Mila-bo Launches Online Reservation System for Parenting Support in Kasama City, Ibaraki

Introduction

Mila-bo, a company specializing in developing services for local governments, is set to debut its online reservation platform, "mila-e Reservation," in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, beginning June 1, 2026. This new initiative aims to simplify access to essential parenting services for families in the region.

Background of "mila-e Reservation"

In Kasama City, a proactive approach to supporting families during pregnancy, childbirth, and child-rearing has led to the introduction of the "Kasama City Parent-Child Handbook" application in October 2025, developed by Mila-bo. The incorporation of the "mila-e Reservation" service will further enhance these efforts by utilizing the "Regional Declining Birthrate Countermeasure Key Promotion Grant."

The new online reservation system will facilitate access to 12 different services, including prenatal consultations, parenting classes, and various parenting salons and consultations.

Seamless Integration of Services

By linking the "mila-e Parent-Child Handbook" and the "mila-e Reservation" system, users will receive timely notifications regarding parenting information, enabling them to make online reservations for consultations, classes, and salons effortlessly. This integration ensures that users can manage information retrieval and booking procedures directly on their smartphones, eliminating the hassle of phone bookings during municipal service hours. Such improvements significantly ease the burden on parenting families, providing a more streamlined experience.

Target Services and Usage

The online reservation service will cover various activities, including:
  • - Prenatal consultations
  • - Kasama Papa Salon (Cooking and Photography)
  • - Parent-Child Salon (for mid-stage and later infant feeding)

To utilize the service, residents can access the "mila-e Reservation" from the main screen of the "mila-e Parent-Child Handbook" app. Users must log in using their mila-e authentication accounts and enter their information to make reservations.
