What is Techball?

League Format

The league will feature doubles matches only, allowing teams to pair up freely in men's, women's, or mixed gender categories. This flexibility encourages creativity and teamwork, so grab a partner or come alone and find a match!

The format will include a round-robin structure, where each participant competes against all others, ensuring maximum playtime and excitement. Expect a friendly yet competitive atmosphere, as everyone competes passionately and enjoys the spirit of the game.

Rules of Play

Adhering to the regulations set forth by the International Techball Federation (FITEQ), the tournament will enforce some local rules to cater to the event’s style:

- Set Points: 1 set to 12 points
- Match Format: 1 set matches
- Serve Rotation: Serving alternates every 2 points

Event Details

Here’s what you need to know about the event:

- Event Name: 2025 Techball Autumn League
- Duration: September 1 to December 22, 2025
- Dates: Games are scheduled for September 1, September 29, October 6, October 20, November 17, December 1, and December 15 (all Mondays).
- Time: Matches will run from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Venue: Fujitsu Stadium Kawasaki – Backup Field (Address: 2-1-9 Fujimi, Kawasaki, 210-0011, Japan)
- Entry Fee: Approximately 10,000 yen per person (subject to change depending on the number of participants)
- Event Type: Doubles (Men/Women/Mixed) – Note: No individual participation is allowed with multiple partners; please reach out if you need assistance finding a teammate.

- Absences: Any participant missing a match due to unavoidable circumstances will be subject to a forfeit.
- Cancellations: Be aware that the tournament may be canceled due to international event conflicts or venue issues.
- Insurance: Participants are encouraged to secure personal insurance coverage since compensation for injuries or accidents is not provided.
