Connecting Nostalgia with the Future at 'REBOOT BRAINS' Pop-Up Event

'REBOOT BRAINS' - A Celebration of Nostalgia and Innovation

A unique pop-up event titled 'REBOOT BRAINS' is coming to the first floor of Shinjuku Marui Men. This event, organized by Marui Co., Ltd. under the leadership of President Masahiro Aono, seeks to revive and celebrate the analog culture of the 80s and 90s. Visitors can explore an extensive display and sale of nostalgic items, including portable cassette players, VHS tapes, vintage magazines, toys, fashion, and various goods that epitomize subculture from that era.

The concept behind 'REBOOT BRAINS' is to reignite the passion of analog culture and transition these treasures to the new era. Here, attendees can expect to find a collection of evocative items designed to spark memories while providing a fresh perspective on the past alongside a vision for the future.

This is not merely a nostalgia trip; it aims to offer a new way of thinking about time by reflecting on the past to better understand the present and aspire for the future. The event space features a DIY design that embodies the high energy and creativity of the staff, symbolically rebooting the brains of all who visit. For those who experienced the 90s firsthand, it offers a chance to relive cherished memories, while younger generations can discover groundbreaking influences from that period.
