Announcing the TKC Tax Forum 2025

TKC Tax Research Institute is excited to announce the
TKC Tax Forum 2025, scheduled for
October 17, 2025, at the
Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo. This event seeks to tackle significant issues that are currently of great interest to tax professionals such as certified public accountants and tax advisors.
Key Themes and Keynote Speakers
The forum will host two prominent speakers who will address pressing topics essential for accounting professionals today.
Mr. Aoki Takayoshi, Director of the Tax Bureau at the Ministry of Finance, will deliver a keynote speech focusing on
“Current Challenges in Taxation.” In this talk, he will explore the structural changes facing Japan, including issues brought on by demographic shifts like an aging population, diverse work styles, globalization, and the digitization of the economy. His insights will help attendees understand how these societal developments impact tax systems and practices.
Additionally,
Professor Yoshimura Masaho from Hitotsubashi University will present on
“The Complexity of Tax Regulations and Interpretations.” This topic is increasingly relevant as tax regulations evolve, and his expertise will provide clarity on navigating the intricacies of current tax law.
Research Presentation
The
TKC Kinki Hyogo Association, under the leadership of
Tax Accountant Kobayashi Yusuke, will also present a research paper on
“Shifting Work Styles and the Boundaries of Income Classification.” This analysis aims to shed light on how emerging work practices affect income categorization in the context of taxation, a crucial topic as the workforce continues to evolve.
