Boku Restaurant and Bar in Guadalajara

The `Boku Restaurant and Bar` has received the SILVER award for its outstanding space design. The project uniquely blends Japanese spatial concepts with local Mexican culture, promising an exceptional dining experience. Inspired by Osaka's street food scene, the restaurant centers around the concept of takoyaki, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that captivates visitors.

The design features a stunning contrast between brick and bamboo, enhancing the overall ambiance. An impressive art wall depicting a giant octopus symbolizes the restaurant’s brand while carefully curated bottles line the back bar, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship in the wooden details. Lounge areas with tranquil sofas are enveloped by lofty arch ceilings, inviting patrons to relax in style.

The curvature in the design promotes movement and flow, facilitating natural communication within the space. Textured materials and natural elements add depth and warmth, while strategic lighting using bamboo creates a soft, inviting atmosphere. The inclusion of a mezzanine further enriches the spatial experience, allowing for a layered and functional layout.

+81 Bar & Club in Manila

Meanwhile, the `+81 Bar & Club` received the BRONZE award, reflecting its high level of creativity and completion in space design. This project is conceived as a hidden nightlife destination within an existing shopping mall in Manila, designed around the theme of “Neo Tokyo.” The exterior mimics construction site aesthetics, creating an air of mystery as guests enter a secretive haven.

The entrance resembles a toy shop, leading to a concealed door that opens into the vibrant bar space. Striking neon lighting and reflective materials contribute to the immersive experience that leaves guests enchanted. The main bar features a stunning ceiling shape coupled with light displays, encapsulating the essence of a futuristic Tokyo.

A live painting performance created by the artist GOSPEL during the pre-opening event further enhances the club's artistic vibe. The creative layout promotes a whimsical exploration of the space, deepening visitors’ sense of wonder.
