SANY Captivates Attention at bauma 2025 with Sustainable Innovations and Digital Intelligence

SANY Impresses at bauma 2025: A Showcase of Innovation and Sustainability

The 34th edition of bauma, the world's premier construction machinery trade fair, recently concluded successfully in Munich, Germany. The event, themed "The World of Efficiency, Your Partner for Creating the Best," provided a platform for SANY Group to unveil their latest innovations alongside Putzmeister. Their spacious booth, spanning 5,256 square meters, drew considerable attention, registering over 200 preliminary customer inquiries on opening day and securing anticipated orders worth nearly three billion yuan (approximately 360.3 million euros).

A Focus on Sustainable Products

This year at bauma, SANY introduced 35 key products, including excavators, telehandlers, wheel loaders, cranes, forklifts, and road machinery. Notably, 31 of these products received CE certification, validating compliance with European regulations. Among these, 15 made their global debut, and 11 were fully electric, underlining SANY’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Featured Products

  • - SCC2000A-EV: The largest purely electric crawler crane in SANY’s lineup boasts a lattice boom design and a high-capacity 422 kWh CATL battery, ensuring up to nine hours of operation. It features a robust 234 kW Danfoss motor, capable of handling demanding jobs with a lifting capacity of 200 tons.
  • - STR50E: Marking a first in the industry, this five-ton electric excavator comes with a 60 kWh battery, which allows for over seven hours of continuous operation. It supports fast charging in just 60 minutes, utilizing shared charging units for electric vehicles.
  • - SY215E: This flagship electric excavator is powered by a 422 kWh CATL battery and a powerful 150 kW motor. It ensures 6-8 hours of steady operation under European working conditions and features dual CCS2 charging (100% in 1.5 hours) with advanced AI camera systems for enhanced safety and efficiency.
  • - STH625E: As SANY's first compact telehandler aimed at the European market, this model measures just 1.85 meters wide and 1.92 meters high, effectively combining compact size with powerful performance. Its 34 kWh battery supports around eight hours of operation at a travel speed of 20 km/h.

Digital Intelligence Takes Center Stage

SANY's digital intelligence exhibition area also attracted significant crowds, drawing interest in the MySANY platform and the smart excavation system, Mechlink. The Mechlink system, developed by Yaowu Technology and the Heavy Machinery R&D Institute specifically for SANY's large excavators, capitalizes on ultra-low latency 5G technology. This allows for intelligent excavation work at L2 level with just a click, ensuring safety, efficiency, and advanced operations.

An additional highlight was a live demonstration of a remotely controlled excavator operated from Munich, Germany, to Hu Zhou, China. This impressive feat covered a distance of over 8,500 kilometers and captivated the enthusiasm of more than 200 participants.

SANY's Journey in Europe

SANY's European journey commenced in 2009 with its entry into Bedburg, Germany. Since then, the company has successfully established a robust ecosystem across Europe encompassing R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and aftermarket services. With 150 dealers, 120 sales experts, and 70 service vehicles, SANY continuously exceeds customer expectations while meeting market demands for clean, eco-friendly, and sustainable products.

As SANY pushes forward, its innovations at bauma 2025 showcase a promising future, further solidifying its status as a key player in the construction machinery industry.
