Celebrate Yebisu with Beer and Food at Yebisu Beer Holiday

Starting August 22, Sapporo Beer Co., a group company of Sapporo Holdings, is introducing a highly anticipated celebration known as the Yebisu Beer Holiday in the birthplace of Yebisu beer, Ebisu, Tokyo. This festive event promises attendees the opportunity to immerse themselves in a unique beer tasting experience, featuring a variety of Yebisu beers along with gourmet food options.

A First Taste of the New Yebisu Brew

At the event, visitors can be among the first to sample Yebisu Creative Brew Wakana, set to launch in canned form on September 2. This innovative beer is crafted using 100% domestic hops, showcasing Yebisu’s passion for Japanese ingredients and brewing techniques.

The beer incorporates three unique hop varieties: Shinshu Wasasei, a traditional Japanese breed; Little Star, a descendant of classic hop lineages; and the promising newcomer Furano Magical. By carefully timing the addition of these hops during the brewing process and allowing fermentation with Yebisu yeast, the result is a rich and elegant flavor profile that delightfully surprises the palate.

Culinary Delights from Local Restaurants

Additionally, the Yebisu Beer Holiday will feature food from several winners of the Yebisu Beer Food Grand Prix, showcasing dishes that pair perfectly with Yebisu beer. Attendees will have the chance to try an array of gourmet delights, including a special holiday plate that highlights various culinary creations from participating restaurants.

Exclusive Limited Edition Beer

On the opening day of the event, visitors can also try a limited edition beer called mimicolale, available only at the Yebisu Brewery Tokyo location. This refreshing brew is inspired by craft cola and is characterized by its zesty brightness and aromatic spices, making it a unique offering not to be missed.
