Discover New Business Opportunities in Aomori
In recent years, community revitalization has become increasingly vital in regions across Japan. In light of this, Ridilover Corporation is launching an exciting program aimed at fostering business development to tackle local challenges. Starting from September 2025, the program offers participants the chance to engage with top runners in the field, listen to their insights, and even visit local sites in Aomori Prefecture.
About the Program
Ridilover, headquartered in Bunkyo, Tokyo, is on a mission to cultivate awareness about social issues through its various programs. The newly announced initiative will bring together individuals passionate about regional revitalization to learn how to create businesses geared towards solving specific community problems. From July 22, 2025, applications will be accepted for participants eager to take part in this unique opportunity.
Program Theme
The primary focus of this program is to utilize underprivileged resources to address structural issues in the primary industries of Aomori, particularly concerning food waste and resource circulation. It consists of four comprehensive sessions designed to enhance participants' understanding and involvement in addressing these local challenges:
1.
Kick-off Workshop: On September 8, participants will join an online workshop led by Koichi Takahashi from the Japan Food Ecology Center. The session will focus on identifying the core issues affecting regional industries.
2.
Field Tour: From September 26 to 28, participants will visit local companies tackling resource circularity challenges. This hands-on experience in Aomori will provide real-world insights into resolving local agricultural issues.
3.
Second Workshop: On October 8, another online workshop will help participants organize their ideas and consider business strategies to address identified bottlenecks.
4.
Final Workshop: The last online meeting on October 16 will encourage participants to share their business ideas for feedback and growth.
Who Should Apply?
This program is designed for anyone interested in developing businesses that address community concerns but feels uncertain about how to effectively do so. Participants may include students, young professionals, or anyone outside Aomori wishing to contribute positively to regional issues. Whether you're a novice or an experienced entrepreneur, there’s something to learn and contribute for everyone.
