Explore the New BUB ACTIVITY CENTER Osaka
BUB Inc. is set to open its latest venture,
BUB ACTIVITY CENTER Osaka, on
June 1, 2026, in the heart of Osaka’s vibrant Shinsaibashi district. Following the success of its Asakusa location, this new facility aims to bridge cultural gaps and promote genuine inter-cultural exchanges through immersive activities centered around Japan’s rich traditions.
What is BUB ACTIVITY CENTER?
Under the vision “
A Trigger Creates the Future,” BUB ACTIVITY CENTER embraces the idea of
“Beyond Unseen Borders,” aiming to transcend invisible barriers of countries, regions, and cultures through unique participatory experiences. This facility is designed as a hub where international visitors can engage with authentic Japanese culture, going beyond the stereotypical sushi and geisha experiences that often define Japan's global image.
The center is strategically located near popular tourist spots, allowing easy access for travelers who wish to dive deeper into Japan's lesser-known cultural assets. By providing a range of traditional activities, BUB ACTIVITY CENTER Osaka aspires to create fresh encounters with Japanese culture for its guests, all facilitated by trained staff members from diverse backgrounds who encourage meaningful discussions and interactions.
Unique Community Experience
At BUB ACTIVITY CENTER, it’s not just about the activities themselves but also about fostering a
community experience. The staff, referred to as crews, actively engage with participants, promoting natural dialogues and connections that can evolve into lasting memories. This approach not only enriches the participants’ journey but also transforms their perception of Japan from merely a tourist destination to a place of genuine cultural appreciation.
Activities Available
Currently, BUB ACTIVITY CENTER Osaka will offer two activities:
1.
Original Bonsai Making Experience
Participants will create their own unique bonsai using easy-to-manage dry materials, allowing them to craft a tangible piece of traditional Japanese culture to take back home.
2.
Knife Making Experience
This hands-on workshop, guided by expert artisans, offers participants the chance to sharpen, craft, and engrave their own knife, culminating in a unique, personalized piece that showcases Japan’s revered craftsmanship.
As the center opens its doors, plans are already in motion to expand the activities available, ensuring a continuous influx of new experiences aligned with Japan's diverse cultural heritage.
A Vision for Global Tourism
BUB Inc. is committed to enhancing inbound tourism by developing the
BUB RESORT properties in scenic locales across Japan before transitioning to the
BUB ACTIVITY CENTER model. By establishing their second location in Osaka, BUB aims to further solidify ties with global travelers. With ambitious goals set for the future, the company plans to expand to 40 locations worldwide by 2030, with potential international sites including Hawaii and Kenya.
