This summer, KidZania Japan is launching two thrilling limited-time pavilions that are sure to spark curiosity in children while providing a unique educational experience. From July to September, children visiting KidZania locations in Tokyo, Koshien, and Fukuoka can immerse themselves in the world of paleontology at the "Fossil Excavation Site" pavilion. Meanwhile, Koshien will also feature the "Fireworks Workshop," offering kids a chance to learn about the traditional art of fireworks crafting.

The Fossil Excavation Experience

The "Fossil Excavation Site" pavilion invites children to step into the role of a dinosaur researcher. Guided by the expertise of Mr. Yudai Miyazawa, a dinosaur consultant, kids will learn about dinosaurs and how fossils are formed through specially crafted materials. They will participate in an actual fossil excavation simulation. Following the excavation, children will observe and analyze the fossils they find, culminating with the creation of a detailed research report.
