Biban Forum 2025: A Hub for Global Startups
Riyadh is once again on the brink of showcasing its entrepreneurial commitment with the upcoming
Biban Forum 2025. Set to take place this year, the forum will serve as a grand stage for the
Global Finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC), marking its third consecutive year in the city.
With expectations of over
140,000 attendees, including entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers, the forum promises to be a beacon of innovation and collaboration. Over
1,000 exhibitors and
22 speakers are set to engage participants through inspiring sessions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities aimed at empowering both startups and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises).
Backed by the
Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MISK) and the
Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the EWC has evolved into the largest competition for startups globally, attracting more than
420,000 entrepreneurs across 191 countries since its inception.
This year, participation skyrocketed to an unprecedented level, with
10,300 startups from 169 countries entering the competition—more than double the last year's figures. Participants hail from
16 diverse sectors, making this a truly global showcase of ideas and innovations. The event will culminate in Riyadh, where the top
100 startups will pitch their unique business proposals, competing for more than
$1.5 million in cash prizes. Beyond financial incentives, participants will gain access to
strategic partnerships and investment opportunities through collaboration with over
64 global partners.
Since its inception, Biban has aimed to stimulate innovation and empower founders to realize their bold ideas. Hosting the EWC Global Finals aligns with its mission to support both Saudi and international entrepreneurship while establishing Riyadh as a key hub for startups and growing enterprises.
Saud Al-Sabhan, Vice Governor for Entrepreneurship at Monsha'at, commented, "In previous editions of the EWC, we have witnessed founders secure investments, expand globally, and launch impactful solutions. Our programs and partnerships have turned bold ideas into reality, and we are committed to helping the next generation of entrepreneurs go even further."
In alignment with
Saudi Vision 2030, Biban 2025 underscores Monsha'at's dedication to fostering a vibrant ecosystem for SMEs and startups, generating employment opportunities, and sustaining economic growth throughout Saudi Arabia.
As the date approaches, the anticipation surrounding Biban Forum 2025 continues to grow, with entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world poised to converge in Riyadh, aiming to reshape the future of entrepreneurship on a global scale.
For anyone interested in the dynamic world of startups and innovation, this is an event not to be missed.
