Discover Singapore's Rich Cultural Tapestry with the New Stopover Campaign for Travelers
Give Yourself a Second Chance in Singapore
Travelers often find that a fleeting stopover in Singapore leaves them yearning for more. Recognizing this, the Singapore Tourism Board has recently launched an innovative initiative inviting visitors to immerse themselves fully in the vibrant culture and natural beauty of this iconic destination. In 2024 alone, over 692,000 American tourists flocked to Singapore, highlighting its status as an attractive long-haul spot that deserves a deeper exploration.
The 'Stopover, Do-Over' Campaign
Together with the Singapore Global Network, the Singapore Tourism Board is rolling out the Stopover, Do-Over campaign, which encourages travelers to spend more time discovering what makes this city so special. This initiative is perfect for those who experienced a brief taste of Singapore but wished they had more time or for first-time visitors eager to experience the city's wonders at a leisurely pace.
The centerpiece of the campaign is a grand prize: a fully customized Do-Over Trip for one lucky participant. This experience is designed to showcase Singapore’s hidden gems, from its eclectic hawker centers that offer delicious local dishes steeped in tradition to lush urban parks emblematic of the city’s sustainability efforts. Winners will also find stylish speakeasies and other nightlife experiences, ensuring they appreciate every facet of what Singapore has to offer.
Additionally, to celebrate Singapore's 60th anniversary of independence coming up on August 9, 2025, the campaign will award 60 round-trip flights to U.S. travelers, allowing even more visitors to explore Singapore at a deeper level.
