Chiba Palsystem Launches Grant Application for Community Activities

Chiba Palsystem Community Activity Grant Initiative: Now Accepting Applications



From July 13 to August 28, 2026, Chiba Palsystem Cooperative, based in Funabashi City, will open applications for the "Chiba Palsystem Community Activity Grant Fund" for the fiscal year 2026. This initiative aims to support various community activities focusing on areas such as welfare, education, and environmental protection. The funds arise from surplus revenues generated by the provision of products and services.

Grant Details


The total grant amount for the 2026 fiscal year is set at 3 million yen, with a maximum of 300,000 yen available per organization. The program is designed to assist non-profit organizations (NPOs) operating within Chiba Prefecture. It can be used for purchasing necessary items for proposed projects and covering some operational costs. Notably, the approved projects are eligible to run from December 1, 2026, to November 30, 2027, showcasing flexibility across fiscal years.

Previous Grant Recipients


For the 2025 fiscal year, grant recipients included organizations such as:
  • - earth FUNTRY! – A musical theater project addressing environmental issues.
  • - NPO Care Network Michikusa – Focusing on creating spaces for individuals affected by dementia.

A Legacy of Support


Established in 2001, the Chiba Palsystem Community Activity Grant Fund was created to bolster the efforts of local organizations tackling a variety of community challenges. Over the past 25 years, a total of 71,864,876 yen has been distributed to a cumulative 310 organizations, significantly contributing to the social fabric of the region.

The fund not only provides financial support but also fosters collaboration between grant recipients, Palsystem Chiba, and its users. By enhancing networks within the community, it aims to promote cooperative strength towards building a better society.

Application Guidelines for the 2026 Grant


  • - Application Period: July 13, 2026 – August 28, 2026, by 5 PM.
  • - Fields of Focus: Environmental issues, welfare, education, human rights, culture, international exchange, peace, urban development, among others deemed appropriate by the committee.
  • - Project Duration: December 1, 2026 – November 30, 2027.
  • - Grant Amount: Maximum 300,000 yen (Total of 3 million yen).
