HACR Launches the 2025 Corporate Inclusion Index Survey
The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) has opened its annual survey for the 2025 Corporate Inclusion Index™ (CII), a significant initiative aimed at enhancing Hispanic inclusion in corporate America. This survey enables corporate leaders to evaluate their policies and practices regarding the Hispanic community across four essential areas: Employment, Procurement, Governance, and Philanthropy.
Key Details of the Survey
The 2025 HACR Corporate Inclusion Index Survey will be accessible until March 5, 2025. It provides a comprehensive framework for businesses to examine their current status and identify areas for improvement in Hispanic inclusion. For organizations that participated in prior years, the survey will offer valuable insights into their progress, while newcomers will be equipped with essential benchmarks to start their efforts.
The survey is entirely free to participate in, and the results will be meticulously analyzed. The findings will be unveiled in October during Hispanic Heritage Month, reinforcing the importance of this demographic in the corporate landscape.
Recognition of Excellence
Top-performing companies that excel in fostering Hispanic inclusion will be honored with the HACR 5-Stars Award. This prestigious accolade will be presented during the 33rd Annual HACR Symposium, themed 'The Power of Hispanic Inclusion,' scheduled from October 13 to 15 in New York City. These awards highlight corporations that demonstrate commitment to fair practices aimed at supporting the Hispanic community, aligning with HACR's mission to ensure full inclusion within Corporate America.
Dr. Gabriela Martinez-Stevenson, HACR Research Specialist, emphasized the significance of the Corporate Inclusion Index™: "This invaluable tool empowers leaders who are dedicated to understanding and serving the burgeoning Hispanic community."
HACR President and CEO, Cid Wilson, echoed this sentiment, stating, "As the demographics of the U.S. continue to shift, prioritizing Hispanic inclusion is not just a choice; it is a necessity. The CII paves the way for corporate leaders to transition from intentions to tangible change."
The History of HACR Index
Since its inception in 2009, the HACR Corporate Inclusion Index™ has played a pivotal role in promoting greater accountability and transparency in corporate efforts to include the Hispanic population. The 2024 report provided crucial insights amidst heightened scrutiny of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, serving as a touchstone for companies navigating this complex environment.
