The Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA) 2026 has successfully concluded its 28th edition, solidifying its reputation as one of the largest international short film festivals in Asia. This year, the festival received an astonishing 4,921 submissions from 114 countries, resulting in a curated selection of 245 films showcased during the event.

On June 11, 2026, the festival's highly anticipated awards ceremony honored extraordinary achievements in various categories, including the prestigious George Lucas Award (Grand Prix), which went to the South Korean film "SPEEDY!" directed by Jiin Oh.
