Charm Industrial Partners with Manufacturo to Enhance Carbon Removal Operations

Charm Industrial, a pioneering company in climate technology, has recently announced a strategic partnership with Manufacturo. This collaboration aims to scale up Charm's manufacturing operations, particularly in their goal of capturing and permanently removing carbon from the atmosphere.

Founded in 2018, Charm Industrial specializes in an innovative technique known as fast pyrolysis, where biomass is converted into bio-oil. This bio-oil is then injected underground to secure carbon in a process known as carbon sequestration. Charm's approach leverages nature’s inherent ability to capture carbon, transforming waste biomass into a valuable resource for reducing atmospheric carbon levels.

Jackson Lisec, Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Charm, pointed out that the innovative data interoperability between their proprietary carbon accounting software, known as Ledger, and Manufacturo's systems guarantees accurate tracking of production outputs. This feature is crucial for ensuring the highest quality carbon credits, thereby strengthening the integrity of Charm's carbon removal claims.

In a joint statement, Kenzo Takai, COO of Manufacturo, expressed excitement for the collaboration, referring to Charm as the fastest-growing technology in the carbon removal sector.
