The magical experience took place in the stunning Riviera Maya, where Carlitos and his father were treated to four nights and five days of enchanting adventures.

On their arrival, the warmth and hospitality of the staff, referred to as Heartists, was palpable. His father, Roberto, is his main caregiver and ensures Carlitos maintains a connection to their Tzeltal culture and language, despite the challenges they face together.

The family's journey has been long and demanding, with Carlitos undergoing extensive treatment. Yet, Roberto's dedication to ensuring his son enjoys childhood amidst adversity shines through. By working remotely, Roberto can provide support while Carlitos receives care, reflecting the family's resilience.
