As summers in Japan continue to grow hotter and more demanding, business professionals are frequently challenged by issues such as sweat stains, odor, UV exposure, and the hassle of daily garment care. K-3B’s approach was to not simply add functionalities later on but to reimagine the fabric from the ground up. The new T-shirt harnesses the natural properties of washi fibers, which ensures skin-friendliness and comfort. The Kaken Test Center has validated the shirt's incredible performance, noting a 95% reduction in odor levels after just two hours, and a remarkable UV shielding rate of 99.4%. The unique fabric also surpasses 100% cotton in terms of moisture absorption and dispersion, underscoring its effective moisture management in the sweltering heat of summer.

Creative Director Yoshimasa Hoshi, who oversaw the design process, emphasizes, "In simplicity, there’s no room for pretense, which is why materials and silhouettes are paramount." Every aspect of the production process, from knitting to dyeing and sewing, was conducted entirely in Japan, ensuring high quality and craftsmanship.
