Muserk's Major Growth Surge in Nashville
Muserk, a prominent global rights management firm specializing in the innovative use of AI technology, Blue Matter®, is experiencing remarkable growth. This escalation comes hand-in-hand with significant accolades, strategic hiring initiatives, and new business ventures. Muserk initially emerged as a platform for royalty collection but has successfully transformed into a comprehensive entity, spanning music rights administration, patented AI technology, copyright royalty funds, and catalog ownership. This evolution solidifies Muserk's position at the crossroads of music rights, data, and financial investments.
For the fifth consecutive year, Muserk has earned its place on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list, which ranks America’s fastest-growing private companies. Achieving this honor is a feat accomplished by fewer than 5% of the tagged companies, further reflecting Muserk's commitment to sustainable growth and its recent business expansions. Muserk's founder and CEO, Paul Goldman, noted, "We built a company that solves the biggest challenges in rights management, and now we're applying that infrastructure to develop new products and services—for ourselves and rights holders around the world."
Recognizing the importance of a skilled team for sustainable expansion, Muserk's growth has led to the hiring of four new personnel this year, bringing its total workforce close to twenty. This expansion enhances the firm’s footprint in Nashville, imposing a roughly 20% increase in its operations in the heart of Music City, all to support Muserk's ramping up of technology and administrative service offerings.
Among the new hires are software developers Jeanine Davis and Jeremy Swain, who will be instrumental in advancing the capabilities of Blue Matter®. Davis comes from BerniePortal, equipped with rich experience as a full-stack developer tackling the challenges of building and scaling a widely utilized Software-as-a-Service product. Her background in royalties administration at Capitol Christian allows her unique insights into the industry paired with engineering skills. Meanwhile, Swain’s previous engagement at Exactuals has honed his expertise at the nexus of data, software engineering, and royalty accounting, enriching Muserk’s understanding and capability within both technology and music sectors.
The administrative team sees reinforcement with the addition of Molly Tiemann and Emily Kelly, enhancing Muserk’s global royalty and rights operations. Tiemann, with her previous tenure at SESAC, brings to Muserk a wealth of relevant experience in managing registrations, metadata ingestion, database administration, catalog audits, and conflict resolution regarding ownership. Her role will be pivotal in refining rights management processes as Muserk broadens its service provisions. Kelly, holding a specialized degree in Music Rights Administration from Belmont University, comes with more than four years of experience across catalog registration, royalty payment logistics, and international licensing. She has previously excelled as the Senior Publishing Catalog Specialist at Music Services.
In addition to the influx of new talent, two internal promotions signal Muserk's strategic vision: Collin White has stepped up to Chief Technology Officer, while Truman Kitos-Lindsey now holds the title of Director of Rights Management. White will steer the ongoing development of Muserk's distinctive Blue Matter® technology and related SaaS solutions, whereas Tiemann and Kelly will work under Kitos-Lindsey's leadership in refining rights management strategies.
Industry veteran Marc Driskill remains at the helm as General Manager, utilizing his decades of experience in music industry leadership to bolster Muserk's strategic growth in Nashville. His accounting background complements his passion for helping creatives navigate the financial intricacies of the music world, with previous roles at ASCAP, Big Loud, Sea Gayle Music, and FirstBank.
With a firm establishment in Nashville and an expanding global presence, Muserk's achievements in 2025 already outpace those of previous years. New international partnerships, innovative catalog investment strategies, and software-as-a-service rollouts are propelling the company into promising new territories.
