Matsumoto Koushirou and Yamaguchi Makito are back together in the seventh installment of the acclaimed series "Onihei Hankachou: Kyouken" which is set to premiere exclusively on the Jidaigeki Specialist Channel and be streamed on Jidaigeki Specialist Channel NET on January 10, 2026, at 1 PM. Additionally, a special preview version will be screened at select theaters, offering exclusive footage that can't be seen anywhere else.

This installment is based on the widely popular novel series by Ikeda Masatarou, which has sold over 30 million copies, and continues to captivate audiences with its thrilling narratives.
