Introducing the Re・De Pot
The Re・De Pot, launched today, is a groundbreaking electric pressure cooker that promises to redefine your cooking experience. Developed by A-Stage, a company based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, this innovative device has already garnered immense attention during its pre-sale, accumulating over 9 million yen in support from backers on the crowdfunding platform Makuake.
Features of the Re・De Pot
The Re・De Pot aims to exceed conventional electric pressure cookers by introducing a revolution in rice cooking. By maintaining a high pressure of up to 1.8 atm, it cooks rice at temperatures exceeding 100°C, extracting peak sweetness and aroma from the grains in just 25 minutes. Its ceramic-coated inner pot enhances heat retention through far infrared effects, resulting in delicious rice, fluffy in texture and rich in flavor, comparable to that made in a high-end rice cooker.
A Success Story from Pre-sale
During its pre-sale from July 7 to August 22 this summer, the Re・De Pot raised a remarkable 9,019,890 yen, supported by 679 enthusiastic backers. Users praised the cooker with comments such as, "The taste of my rice has transformed," and, "Cooking has reached a new level of efficiency beyond time-saving."
Broader Cooking Capabilities
The enhancements go beyond just rice cooking. The popular low-temperature cooking mode has now evolved from seven to fifteen precise settings, allowing for temperature adjustments from 30°C to 100°C in 5-degree increments. Whether it’s crafting homemade miso, baking artisanal sourdough, or cooking tender roast beef, the Re・De Pot can simulate precise temperature controls automatically, enabling everyday chefs to achieve professional results with ease. Its elegant design complements any kitchen or dining table, encapsulating the idea that minimal effort can yield maximum joy in food preparation.
