On December 14, 2024, Inland Respite Inc. marked a remarkable milestone—its 25th anniversary—with a spectacular gala held at the Palm Springs Air Museum. The event attracted over 350 guests, including families relying on respite care, community partners, and dedicated staff, all coming together to celebrate a quarter-century of excellent service.

Founders Catalina "Katy" Santillan and Paul Santillan Sr., as well as current president Paul M. Santillan and COO Alexandria Cano-Santillan, were key figures at the event. They welcomed and honored the organization’s dedicated caregivers who have tirelessly contributed to its mission. Hardy Parungao, CEO, highlighted the vital role of the administrative staff in executing the organization’s vision.

Guests enjoyed a delightful dinner complemented by awards and engaging activities for all ages, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with laughter and dancing. The gala revolved around a wonderland theme, bringing a whimsical touch to the night, and showcasing the unity and warmth within the Inland Respite community.

Paul M. Santillan shared heartfelt words during the event, stating, "Our mission has always been clear: to provide compassionate respite services that profoundly affect the Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled (IID) community. For the past 25 years, we've strived to uphold this mission, and we look forward to serving with dedication and care for many more years to come."

As a part of its anniversary celebrations, Inland Respite Inc. announced a generous $25,000 donation to the Autism Society Group of Inland Empire. Recognizing autism as the leading disability among their clients, this gesture demonstrates the organization’s commitment to providing continuous support and resources to individuals with autism and their families. Paul M. Santillan emphasized the importance of organizations like the Autism Society for those affected by autism, stating that without their support, many families can feel lost in navigating necessary resources.
