David Kinley Recognized with the National Golden Merit Award



In a momentous celebration held on July 22, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts, David Kinley, the Vice President of Operations for New York State at Student Transportation of America (STA), was honored with the National Golden Merit Award. Kinley's journey in the student transportation field spans over four decades, beginning as a management trainee with the National School Bus Service, Inc. His remarkable ascent through various transportation contractors culminated in his joining STA in 2019. Now, as Vice President of Operations for New York, he provides guidance to seven Area General Managers and oversees 35 locations statewide, enhancing safety standards and fostering a collaborative atmosphere within the organization.
