CEIPA x TOYOTA GROUP: The MUSIC WAY PROJECT Emerges
In an exciting initiative to elevate the Japanese music industry on a global scale, CEIPA (Culture and Entertainment Industry Promotion Association) has teamed up with TOYOTA GROUP to launch the MUSIC WAY PROJECT. This collaboration aims to support and promote the sustainable growth of Japanese music in both domestic and international arenas, empowering creators through innovative co-writing opportunities.
Starting from May 18 to May 21, 2025, the MUSIC WAY PROJECT will host the first-ever co-writing camp, SONG BRIDGE 2025, in the culturally rich city of Kyoto. This camp aligns perfectly with the inaugural MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025, designed to showcase and celebrate outstanding musical talents from Japan and beyond.
What is Co-Writing?
Co-writing is a collaborative method in music creation, allowing multiple creators to come together and share diverse perspectives, thus generating new musical possibilities. This practice, originally popularized in the Western music scene, has recently gained traction in Japan and the broader Asian market, offering a fresh approach to music production.
Notable Creators Participating
SONG BRIDGE 2025 will feature an impressive lineup of talents, including:
