XCMG Machinery Strengthens Its European Market Presence
XCMG Machinery, a key player in the construction equipment manufacturing sector, is ramping up its expansion across Europe by establishing local operations and enhancing its service offerings in France and Poland. This strategic approach is aimed at bolstering their commitment to sustainable development and industrial growth within the region.
On April 13, 2025, XCMG-Europa Sp. z o.o. celebrated a significant milestone in Kompin, Poland, conducting a groundbreaking ceremony for a state-of-the-art assembly hall dedicated to the production of advanced Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) rigs. These facilities, established in compliance with EU standards since 2004, emphasize XCMG's strategy of localized manufacturing. By combining Polish engineering expertise with cutting-edge manufacturing innovations, XCMG aims to enhance its production efficiency and reduce costs while generating employment opportunities.
"This investment not only positions Poland as a hub for high-quality machinery but also expands our capability to deliver tailored solutions to European customers," stated Michał Myczkowski, the president of XCMG-Europa. The new plant will specialize in non-trenching drilling equipment, in line with the rising demand for sustainable infrastructure technologies in Europe.
Simultaneously, in France, XCMG and its official distributor, Groupe LABROSSE, hosted a successful open house event on April 14, where they unveiled plans to broaden their market presence through acquisitions and improved service networks. LABROSSE has made strategic acquisitions of key local rental dealers, including Barthélémy Location and E2M, with plans to finalize additional partnerships soon. The inauguration of Groupe LABROSSE's new headquarters further establishes their localized approach with 12 distinct XCMG machine models, including earth-moving and aerial platforms, all supported by skilled onsite technical experts.
"Our European strategy prioritizes intelligent innovation, ecological transition, and service excellence," emphasized Yang Dongsheng, President of XCMG Group, while announcing the upcoming launch of a European Training Center and a leasing subsidiary. These initiatives aim to provide clients with advanced knowledge and flexible financing options to ensure long-term operational efficiency.
In France, XCMG has formalized the establishment of a subsidiary, featuring a multicultural team managing each division of the manufacturing entity. Furthermore, in Germany, a 5,000 square meter service center focused on training and spare parts storage has been set up. By synchronizing localized production in Poland with a fortified distribution network in France, XCMG successfully demonstrates its dual emphasis on manufacturing excellence and customer-focused services.
With six international research and development centers and operations across 193 countries, XCMG continues to integrate local talent and resources within its global framework, further solidifying its position as a leader in the construction machinery industry.
As XCMG progresses in its European endeavors, the company remains focused on innovating within the construction sector while adapting to the evolving market landscape, ultimately aiming to lead the way toward a sustainable and technologically advanced future.
