GQG Partners Chooses SEI's Advisors' Inner Circle Fund for ETF Launch
On July 31, 2025, SEI Investments announced a significant partnership with GQG Partners in the financial world. GQG chose the Advisors' Inner Circle Fund series trust as its operational framework to successfully launch its first exchange-traded fund (ETF), known as the GQG US Equity ETF (NYSE: GQGU). This venture not only represents an exciting milestone for GQG but also expands their nearly decade-long partnership with SEI, which has previously supported six mutual funds and a private fund for GQG.
The GQG US Equity ETF was officially launched on July 14, 2025, boasting over $200 million in assets under management (AUM) at its inception. This capital was derived from a strategic conversion of a private fund under Section 351, allowing a seamless transition into the ETF vehicle in a tax-efficient manner. This novel structure caters particularly well to investors and advisors eager to leverage GQG's investment management expertise within an ETF framework.
Steve Ford, the Head of Global Distribution at GQG Partners, commented on the launch, affirming the firm's dedication to aiding clients in capital growth.
