In a groundbreaking collaboration, Uniper Global Commodities SE and AM Green Ammonia India Private Limited have signed a long-term agreement for the acquisition of up to 500,000 metric tons per year of renewable ammonia produced in India. Under the terms of the agreement, Uniper will receive renewable ammonia certified as Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO) from AM Green's projects, with the initial shipments expected to commence by 2028 from AM Green's first plant in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, which is currently under construction.
