Starting in July 2023, Unito began operating the 'Hotel Residence Ohashi Kaikan', with plans to relocate its headquarters there by November 2024. To accommodate further growth, they are expanding the office area on the second floor, which integrates seamlessly with the hotel residence front.

Office Expansion Project: A Concept of Living and Working Together

The expansion project isn't just about increasing space; it's about creating an environment that nurtures creativity and productivity. Leveraging the expertise of mast, a renowned architectural firm, Unito prioritizes an interior design that reflects their corporate vision of optimizing life.

The new office area combines elements of the hotel residence with an inviting workspace, embodying the motto: "Living as You Work, Working as You Live." This new space is strategically located to be visible from both the hotel front and the shared lounge, reinforcing a sense of community and collaboration.

Within this harmonious environment, the layout includes comfortable sofas and tables, resembling a living room where colleagues can freely interact while getting their work done. The workspace is designed with focus in mind; a dedicated working area by the windows is separated from the living area by delicate, translucent curtains that allow natural light to flow in while maintaining a sense of privacy.

Moreover, the meeting room serves a dual purpose, acting as a gallery showcasing Unito's journey, making it an inspirational environment where past achievements meet future aspirations.

Unique Design Features

The design vision was spearheaded by Masato Nemoto, the director of mast, who founded the architectural office in 2019. Nemoto’s philosophy focuses on creating inquiry-driven spaces that enrich daily life, making them ideal for residences and workplaces alike.
