A Fun-Filled Day at the Xyliblock Event!
In celebration of November 8th, known as Good Teeth Day, Bitatto Japan held a special event on November 14 at a local kindergarten in Tokyo. The focus was on promoting dental hygiene by introducing the natural xylitol candy, Xyliblock, which is free of cavity-causing sugars. The aim was to change the sentiment of children from "I dislike brushing my teeth" to "Brushing with Xyliblock is fun!" With over 50 children and parents participating, the atmosphere was vibrant and filled with joy!
1. Storytime - Knock Out the Cavity Monsters!
The event kicked off with a captivating storytelling session using picture cards, where the secrets of cavity-causing bacteria and the powerful benefits of xylitol were explained engagingly. The children's serious expressions changed to excitement as they eagerly listened, ready to activate their dental care switches!
2. Creative Time - Designing Lemon Crowns!
Next, the kids decorated paper crowns shaped like lemons using permanent markers. With focused expressions, they created their unique “Lemon-chan crowns.” Once completed, they wore their crowns proudly, feeling like members of the Lemon-chan fan club!
3. A Special Guest - Lemon-chan Joins the Fun!
Amidst cheerful shouts of 'Lemon-chan!' from children, the beloved character made a grand entrance! The kids joined Lemon-chan in practicing the Xyliblock dance, having a blast while learning about establishing xylitol habits through fun movements.
4. Group Photos and Special Souvenirs!
The event concluded with a group photograph featuring Lemon-chan and attentively bundled souvenir packs for all participants as a thank you for their enthusiastic involvement.
A Surprise Gift for Lemon-chan!
At the event’s finale, the children presented a surprise gift to Lemon-chan—a beautifully handmade Christmas wreath themed around lemons. This heartfelt gesture brought a tear to Lemon-chan’s eye, wrapping up the day with joyful memories.
Souvenir Lineup for Parents and Children
To support the practice of dental hygiene at home, the souvenir packs included:
