The Kanto branch of Nikka Home, led by President Hirohisa Nishida, hosted its annual awards ceremony on May 16, 2025. This special event highlighted the achievements of its dedicated team of approximately 400 members across 34 showrooms in the Kanto area. As anticipation built up for who would be crowned the MVP of the year, the energy in the room was palpable, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

The History of Nikka Home's Expansion in Kanto

Starting from its main base in Nagoya, Nikka Home initially entered the Kanto market in July 2009 with the opening of the Yokohama Tsurumi showroom. Over the past 16 years, the company's reach has grown significantly, now encompassing locations in Kanagawa, Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Gunma, and Tochigi. This March, they opened their 34th showroom in Matsudo, further strengthening their presence in the region. Additionally, a new showroom is currently under construction in Kofu, Yamanashi, indicating that the company’s expansion is far from slowing down.

The Purpose Behind the Awards Ceremony

The first annual awards ceremony was held last year, marking the 15th anniversary of Nikka Home's operations in the Kanto area. The event was designed not only to recognize the hard work of employees but also to boost morale and foster a sense of community. With the recent addition of 33 new graduates, staff numbers reached roughly 400, prompting this year’s ceremony to scale up in grandeur.

This year, about 320 team members gathered for the event, creating an electrifying atmosphere. The opening speech by the sales manager emphasized gratitude for the team's efforts over the year and shared an ambitious vision for the future, including hopes of hosting the awards ceremony at the prestigious Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa.
