Explore the Hidden World of Aviation with a Special Tour to Victorville Airport

Special Aviation Tour Launch: Discover Victorville Airport

A unique opportunity for aviation enthusiasts, ANA X Co., Ltd. has announced a special tour titled "Behind the Scenes of Aviation: The Aircraft Graveyard and Emergency Equipment World at Victorville Airport". This four-day journey set to depart on February 6, 2026, will go on sale starting October 23, 2023. This is the third installment in a popular series that started with the previous tours held at Mojave Airport and Victorville Airport in 2023 and 2025 respectively.

What to Expect on the Tour

This unique experience offers access to places that the general public never sees, particularly the factory of HRD Aero Systems Inc., where emergency equipment repairs occur. Tour participants will have the rare chance to see and even touch oxygen masks and emergency slides, providing a hands-on experience of aviation safety equipment.

Meet the Experts

Accompanying the group are two aviation maintenance professionals from ANA, who will share exclusive insights into aircraft maintenance and decommissioning. Guests can engage in intimate discussions with experts, learning hidden stories from the aviation world that are not shared openly.

Special Evening Events

The tour includes a special dinner party at the Flight Path Learning Center & Museum, where guests will enjoy a meal while interacting with professionals who manage aircraft parts and maintenance. This evening promises to be filled with expert knowledge and fascinating tales of retired aircraft.

Unique Photo Opportunities

Participants will also enjoy exclusive access to photo opportunities at the Victorville Airport, where many retired aircraft stand. This will allow for memorable photography sessions against the backdrop of iconic planes, enhancing the tour experience.

Shuttle Adventure

Additionally, attendees will take a shuttle bus from the Flight Path Learning Center & Museum to observe the runways at Los Angeles Airport. This unique leg of the journey is designed to deeply engage tour-goers with the day-to-day workings of air travel.

Tailored Experiences

In response to guest feedback from the previous tour, travel arrangements have been adjusted to accommodate a variety of preferences, including plans for those who want to start their journey from Haneda Airport or extend their stay beyond four days. Guests will be accommodated at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport South, which is conveniently located near Clutter’s Park—a public space ideal for spotting aircraft arrivals and departures.

This tour promises not just sightseeing but also an immersive educational experience, making it a rare opportunity for aviation fans. It capitalizes on the rich history of air travel while providing an insider’s look into how historic aircraft are maintained and managed.
