Indulge in a Unique Melon and Peach Afternoon Tea Experience This Summer

Hotel Nikko Tachikawa Tokyo Summer Delight

Starting June 14, 2026, reservations will be open for a limited-time afternoon tea experience focused on the flavors of summer's favorite fruits—melon and peach. From July 6 through August 21, on weekdays only, the restaurant 'All Day Dining Sato' at Hotel Nikko Tachikawa Tokyo will offer an exclusive afternoon tea service that showcases these delicious fruits. With only 20 servings available each day, this is a must-try culinary delight.

The Highlights of the Afternoon Tea

The afternoon tea features a medley of delightful sweet and savory creations curated by the talented Pastry Chef Hiroshi Shimizu. Notable offerings include:
  • - Two Types of Melon Shortcake: This cake harmonizes the sweet and refreshing flavors of red and green melons, providing a delightful taste experience.
  • - Peach Milk Pudding with Peach Tea Jelly: A visually stunning dessert, this layered dish offers distinct flavors in each bite, combining peach sauce, smooth milk pudding, and refreshing jelly.
  • - Peach Clafoutis: A baked tart that beautifully blends the essence of peach and vanilla in light pastry.
  • - Red Melon Macaron: A delicate macaron that features the rich flavor of red melon and creamy butter filling.
  • - Peach Melba: A delicious combination of vanilla ice cream topped with peach compote and raspberry sauce, elegantly finished with almond tuile.

On the savory side, guests can savor:
  • - Pork Gyros Pita Sandwich: This dish takes a traditional Greek favorite and infuses it with aromatic spices and fresh vegetables.
  • - Shrimp Fritter with Tartar Sauce: Lightly battered and fried shrimp that offer a crispy texture and savory flavor.

Complementing these exquisite treats is a selection of fine teas from Ronnfeldt, a well-established German tea manufacturer. Enjoy a refreshing afternoon immersed in the sweetness of summer fruits while unwinding in the elegant ambiance of the café.
